One address to block every inbox you never wanted

Whether you call it a temporary email address, throwaway email, or burner email, EmailFW does one job: keep your real address out of marketing lists. One-time asks — OTPs, whitepapers, trial sign-ups — belong on a disposable address you can abandon.

Everything is free — no paid tier to unlock
  • No signup — land and go

An address appears automatically. No phone number, no password — paste it into a sign-up form within seconds.

  • Mail shows up on its own

The inbox silently checks every 5 seconds. Verification codes land without you hammering refresh.

  • 3 hours to start, 24 hours max

Default validity is 3 hours with one-click renewal — enough runway for a full registration flow.

  • Reopen via link

Your token lives in the URL and local storage — refresh or open the same link on another device to recover the inbox.

  • Long-term? Switch to aliases

Sign in and create up to 100 forwarding aliases — mail reaches your real inbox and stays archived for 30 days.

  • Receive-only by design

No outbound mail means nobody can spam from this domain — cleaner reputation, steadier delivery for your codes.

Three steps to your first message

From copying an address to reading a verification code usually takes under a minute.

Copy the address above

Tap Copy address — your current disposable email is on the clipboard.

Paste it on the target site

Use it on a sign-up form, download gate, or anywhere a site asks for email.

Come back and wait

Return to this tab — new mail appears in seconds. Open a row to read the code and body.

Save your real inbox for people who matter

Every casual email you hand out becomes another row in someone else's marketing database. Use a throwaway address for one-off asks and forwarding aliases for subscriptions you actually keep — reserve your primary inbox for work and the people you trust.

  • No personal identity collected — generating an address requires zero registration
  • Temp mail is wiped when it expires — no lingering copies
  • Completely free — no premium tier hiding basic features

When to reach for a throwaway first

Any moment a site only wants your email, what some people call a fake email — a working inbox that just isn't tied to you — can stand in.

Temp mail questions, answered

What new users ask most often. For deeper walkthroughs, see our email alias forwarding guide and privacy guides.

How long does a temp mail address last?
Each temporary email address stays active for 3 hours by default — much longer than typical 10 minute mail services. You can extend it by another 3 hours with one click, up to 24 hours total per address. After that, the inbox and all messages are permanently deleted.
Is temp mail reliable for verification codes?
The inbox checks for new mail every 5 seconds, so OTPs usually appear within seconds without manual refresh. If a site never delivers a code, the domain may block disposable addresses — tap New address and try again, or switch to a permanent forwarding alias.
Is temp mail anonymous?
Yes. No registration, no phone number, and no personal identity is collected — use it as an anonymous throwaway inbox opened only via the access token in your link. Do not use it for banks or other critical accounts; once the address expires, password resets will not reach you.
Can I download attachments in temp mail?
Temp mail does not store attachments: the paperclip icon only means the original message had files. Messages over 100 MB are rejected outright. For attachments, use a permanent forwarding alias — under 50 MB is forwarded and kept for 30 days; 50–100 MB forwards to your real inbox but is not stored on-site; over 100 MB is rejected.
What is the difference between temp mail and forwarding aliases?
Temp mail fits one-off tasks: grab a download, catch a verification code, then walk away. Forwarding aliases are long-lived — sign in with your real email, create up to 100 alias addresses, and mail forwards to your inbox with a 30-day online archive. Better for subscriptions and services you keep using. See the permanent forwarding overview.
Can I send email from this service?
No. EmailFW is receive-only. That keeps the domain reputation clean so your verification codes and notifications are less likely to be filtered upstream.
